At AIM all our operatives are IRATA qualified and have specific confined space rescue training and experience needed to work safely and undertake any rescue should they arise in a confined space. Rescue equipment will be supplied for every confined space job and at a minimum shall include rescue ropes and a hauling system, skid stretcher, 2-way radios, personal gas alarms, and escape sets for anyone entering the space thus maintaining ultimate safety and peace of mind should any emergencies arise. We provide specialist breathing apparatus, Draeger CF15 escape sets which give operatives 15 minutes of positive air to minimise any risk of inhaling hazardous gases should condition change. All confined spaces will be gas tested before entry and personal gas monitors will constantly analyse the atmospheric air for any change which could prove dangerous.
